Bathroom Styling Inspiration - Keeping it simple and pretty.

Updated: May 11, 2023

Bathroom styling is one of the easiest things you can do because most likely you'll have the necessities you use already in your home.

I wanted to share this post for some people who haven't really styled before. This is actually a great way to start out because you aren't out shopping for home decor items and getting overwhelmed on what to buy and how to style it. You'll be using soap, q-tips, cotton balls etc.... Again this is great for beginners because it's all the basics that you use : )

That being said, there are a few items you do need before you get started:

1. A tray or basket to place your items in.

2. Some apothecary jars to fill your items in with (glass, plastic or something decorative works)

3. Something to make your tray pretty and stand out - greenery or some kind of floral arrangement.

For now I'm sticking with a neutral theme of white, but I will definitely swap out a few items as the seasons change! I'll most likely change to scented soaps and candles during the holidays and summer months and to add some color maybe change the wash cloths and bath crystals.

My bathroom tray consists of soap, hand lotion, q-tips, cotton balls, cotton pads and wash cloths. Since, I had some extra space in my tray, I added in a decorative bar of soap, a candle and some lavender scented bath salts.

Remember, there is no right or wrong way to style your tray. You can definitely choose to keep it simple and just stick with the basic necessities or add in a few extras if you have the space! My only suggestion is to make it pretty : )

I bought my tray @amazon. They had some great options for baskets too. They also have great prices for their apothecary jars for q-tips and cotton balls if you need. Otherwise, if you prefer shopping at retail stores any Home Goods, Marshalls or Hobby Lobby will do!
